Invisalign is an orthodontic treatment system that works to straighten teeth through the use of a series of clear plastic trays (aligners). No more metal when smiling, Invisalign® braces are virtually invisible.
The process is very simple, after taking bite impressions and photos of your mouth we send the collected information to Invisalign®. A three-dimensional model and analysis of your teeth is made. We view this model on our computers and through software position the modeled teeth for the intended result. This computer model gives us a step by step view of the entire Invisalign process.
There are a number of benefits to Invisalign over traditional braces, perhaps the most obvious being that no one has to know your wearing braces. Also, because the trays are changed every 2 weeks, patients generally experience less soreness with their teeth due to the fact that each tray moves the teeth in smaller increments when compared with traditional braces. Another important benefit is the improved oral hygiene over traditional braces, since patients can take their trays out to brush and floss.
Vital tooth bleaching, or whitening is safely completed in our office or at home. We use only FDA approved products and techniques for a safe, predictable, impressive result.
As seen on TV, we offer the ZOOM in-office, one-hour tooth whitening system. This is the fastest way to brighter teeth. But for those patients who have sensitivity to light, we now offer VENUS in-office tooth whitening. This system offers a doctor supervised alternative that produces great results. Either system can whiten your smile up to 10 shades in a single appointment.
Additionally, we offer a custom made, doctor supervised, tooth whitening system that can be safely used at home for brightening your smile. Store bought systems can damage teeth and gums. This damage, in most cases, cannot be repaired. Cosmetic result is important, but never more important than your safety and health.
Dental Implants replace your natural tooth and root when lost to extraction. Implants look great, and are a very conservative option.
Implants can also help to create a very strong connection to dentures.
Over the last 25 years titanium implants have made huge strides in medicine and dentistry. Today, dental implants are usually the preferred method to replace missing teeth due to their proven track record, excellent success rates, and flexibility in treatment options.
We will be able to evaluate your situation, and tell you if you are a candidate for dental implants. We have experience with a number of different dental systems and together we can help you determine which system is best for you. We usually work in conjunction with an Oral Surgeon or Periodontist when placing implants, and then we restore your tooth in our offices.
Teeth which have been stained, chipped, cracked or otherwise damaged can look beautiful with the placement of strong and durable Porcelain Veneers. Veneers are thin, semi-translucent porcelain “shells” that are custom made to fit precisely over existing teeth. Veneers are permanently bonded into place by a special resin that adheres to the front and biting surfaces of the tooth. The finished result is an extremely strong and durable new tooth.
Though veneers may not be suitable for all patients, they are often the ideal option to close spaces between teeth and cover unsightly teeth. They can also be used to cover stained or washed-out fillings, whiten permanently discolored teeth, or to correct crooked teeth.
Veneers are carefully designed to look and feel natural. By taking into consideration the patients eye and hair color, complexion, and the shape of the face, veneers can be made to look incredibly esthetic and natural. Whether you want bright, white teeth or if you want to close spaces between teeth, porcelain veneers may be for you.
Sealants applied early, and kept in place, prevent tooth decay. Period.
Next to in-office fluoride treatments, Dental Sealants represent the best value modern preventive dentistry has to offer.
Because decay on back teeth commonly begins in the grooves, pits, and fissures on the chewing surfaces of teeth, Sealants are “painted” on those biting surfaces and protect against decay.
Of course Sealants don’t eliminate all cavities, so it’s important to brush, floss, and see your Hygienist regularly to prevent decay on the sides and between teeth.
